So what makes a good cake?
"We think that it's a fine balance. Full of flavour but not sickly sweet, not too dry and not too moist, a blend of flavour with no single overpowering presence. We think we've just about got it right with our range."
The Cake Root signature varieties include Chocolate and Beetroot, Parsnip with Lime and Ginger, Sweet Potato with Coconut and Honey and Carrot with Orange and Walnut. Try them out, you'll not be disappointed!
"At Cakeroot we try to be as environmentally aware as possible and we've tried really hard to do our bit. Today, all of our containers and serviettes are not only biodegradeable but also compostable. The card inside the packaging can be recycled along with other paper and card items in your household recycle bin."
